What is collected

Visit statistics

The site uses Vercel Analytics. It records the page address, the referrer, the country, the device type and the browser family. The statistics are aggregate. You are not profiled, not identified and not followed across other sites. No cookie is set for this.

The legal basis is legitimate interest, GDPR article 6(1)(f). The interest is knowing whether the site works and whether anyone reads it.

The view you chose

When you press the 3D view button in the navigation, your browser stores one entry namedrc-view holding either 3d or 2d. Its only job is to open the site in the view you picked the next time you come back.

The entry exists only because you pressed the button. If you never press it, nothing is stored on your device. Press it again to change the choice. Clearing the site data in your browser removes it.

Who receives the data

The site is hosted and the visit statistics are processed by Vercel Inc., United States. That means personal data leaves the European Economic Area. The transfer relies on the European Commission standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Data is never sold and never passed to advertising networks.

The contact form

The form asks for three things: a name, an email address and a message. The name and the address are needed to answer, the message so that I know what the matter is. The form collects nothing else, and no submission is stored in any database.

The legal basis is steps before a contract, GDPR article 6(1)(b). Sending the form stores nothing on your device.

If you send an email

Mail from the form and mail sent straight to the address both arrive in a mailbox onGoogle Workspace. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for the conversation or for a contract, and is deleted afterwards.

The provider for European customers is Google Ireland Limited. Mail may still be processed on Google servers outside the European Economic Area. That transfer relies on the European Commission standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Mail from the form is delivered by Resend. The message itself is processed in the European Union, in Ireland. The provider behind the service, Plus Five Five, Inc., is established in the United States, so access from outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out. That transfer relies on the European Commission standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, on the same basis as the hosting.
